Adıyaman University Gölbaşı Vocational School Occupational Health and Safety Program, was established to train competent, technical intermediate personnel with regard to occupational accidents and occupational diseases that may occur in working life, in the light of current technology and information, to the private sector and the public sector.
Our program, theoretically and practically, is supported by contemporary education methods in accordance with today's conditions and allows our students to graduate from our program so that they can have sufficient experience in the professional field.
Students who fulfill the program requirements, if they meet the graduation requirements, they graduate from ADIYAMAN University GÖLBAŞI Vocational School with the title of "Occupational Health and Safety Technical Staff".
With the Occupational Health and Safety Law No.6331, the employment of personnel related to occupational health and safety (Occupational safety specialist, Workplace doctor, etc.) in the private and public sector has become obligatory, and this has increased the demand for our program graduates.
In addition, our students, who graduate as technical staff, give a "Occupational Safety Specialist" certificate to candidates who are successful in certain trainings given by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the exam they will apply after these trainings. In this way, our students have the opportunity to work in the public and private sector, in this legally mandatory employment area.
Candidates who enter the Occupational Health and Safety program, the YKS made by ÖSYM and get enough “TYT” points, can be placed according to their preferences.
In order for the candidates to graduate, they must successfully complete the courses available in the Program (total 120 ECTS) and have a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00.
Graduates who successfully complete the program are awarded an associate degree in "Occupational Health and Safety".
Students who graduate from the program can continue their education and training in undergraduate programs with the DGS made by ÖSYM.
The exams held at Adıyaman University are carried out in accordance with the student workload in the Bologna process, according to the Adıyaman University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations.
